Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson showed off his Halloween costume, which paid tribute to a certain NBA legend.
It is Halloween weekend, which means there were plenty of professional athletes showing off their costume, whether it was entering the venue or at a party. LeBron James showed off his Freddy Kruger costume, Russell Westbrook dressed as Chucky the Doll, and Aaron Rodgers portrayed John Wick.
For Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, he decided to pay tribute to a Hall of Famer with his costume. In the below tweet, you can see Thompson dressing up as Larry Bird.

Thompson even showed off the Bird-esque handles while standing behind the three-point line in this clip. Oh, and he made the three-pointer as well.
The Warriors have been without Thompson since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, where he tore his ACL. Despite the injury, Golden State signed him to a five-year, $189.9 million contract. The hope was that Thompson would be able to return for the 2020-21 season, but those plans ended after he tore his Achilles in a workout.
Prior to this season, general manager Bob Myers hinted that Thompson could potentially make his return from his injuries in January.
Warriors fans will no doubt be excited once Thompson is cleared to make his season debut. If this video showed anything, it is that he can still make shots from behind the arc.
