Skip Bayless is ready to crown the Milwaukee Bucks as NBA Finals champs after a huge victory in Game 5 against the Suns.
Here we are on Sunday and NBA fans all over the country can’t stop talking about the heart-stopping Game 5 showdown in the Finals between the Bucks and Suns. Phoenix looked outstanding in the first quarter, taking a 37-21 lead into the second.
However, Phoenix totally blew it and watched Milwaukee take a 3-2 series lead. Now, Skip Bayless, known for his controversial ways, has come out and called it. Yup, if you ask Bayless, this series is already over.
The national NBA media lost its mind as a whole after Game 5
With this one going back to Milwaukee for Game 6, it really looks like the Bucks are in the driver’s seat to close things out on Monday night. It’d of course be a massive personal accomplishment for reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
With that said, there’s still one more game Milwaukee needs to come out on top of. For Bayless, Game 5 was a huge choke job for the Suns, but he’s not going to blame Chris Paul. Nope, he thought Paul was fantastic.
At the same time, Bayless also used the Game 5 loss for Paul and the Suns as yet another excuse to troll LeBron James. Seriously, we’re not kidding.
Surprisingly enough, Stephen A. Smith hasn’t taken to Twitter in the past couple of days. Usually, Smith would be quite boisterous on social media after such a big contest. Instead, there’s radio silence on this Twitter feed.
Bayless didn’t follow that act, as his tweets above are only three of the several he dropped. Come Monday night, especially if the Bucks win, we can expect both of these guys to be fired up about things.
