Giannis Antetokounmpo dunked all over poor Tacko Fall.
Tacko Fall doesn’t get very many minutes with the Boston Celtics, but at 7-foot-5, any would-be scorer has to be aware of his presence whenever he’s on the floor — no matter where they’re trying to shoot from.
Luckily for the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is no mere mortal, and he proved it in Friday’s game against the Celtics.
With Fall seeing some rare first-quarter action, the Greek Freak found himself matched up on Boston’s gentle giant. And like the two-time MVP that he is, Giannis did NOT back down from the challenge as he drove to the rim:
Giannis Antetokounmpo dunked on Tacko Fall’s head
Okay, to be fair, Fall didn’t even have time to register what was happening, let alone react and try to block the shot. It looked like he made a business decision to not even challenge Antetokounmpo’s sweeping dunk attempt, but in reality, Tacko was still trying to catch up to Giannis off the dribble when it happened.
With that being said, having the length, speed and reach to blow right by a 7-foot-5 dude –and then finish with a monster dunk — is still something 99.9 percent of the human race cannot do, and Giannis just made it look all too easy by throwing one down on poor Tacko’s head.
The Celtics took a 60-55 lead into the halftime break, and Giannis only went 1-for-7 in the first half. But that one made field goal was easily the highlight of the first two quarters, and one that will probably earn a pretty penny on NBA Top Shot in the near future.
