Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will miss at least the next two games with a mild left hamstring strain, the team announced Sunday.
The Nets are scheduled to play the Sacramento Kings on Monday and the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
Durant has missed nine of the Nets’ 28 games this season. Six of those absences were due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
Coming off an Achilles tear that cost him all of last season, Durant hasn’t missed a beat when he’s been available to play.
Durant, 32, is averaging 29 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists, shooting 52 percent from the field and 43 percent from deep for the season.
