Dwyane Wade stole LeBron James’ look on Inside the NBA
Dwyane Wade and LeBron James’ relationship has developed from frequent competitors to great friends over the years, with the two even teaming up for two NBA Titles down in South Beach. James is still inspired by his younger self, even sporting a look that might be best served for Miami nights, rather than the Orlando NBA bubble.
Wade had some fun at his friend’s expense, copying the look during his analyst role on Inside the NBA. D-Wade’s banana boat brother may not care what the haters have to say about his fashion choice, but what about D-Wade?
So, how did LeBron James take Wade’s constructive criticism?
About as well as we could’ve hoped, it would appear. Gabrielle Union liked the look on her husband, and even let him know about it in, well, a provocative way.
LBJ, however, asked all the right questions. Mainly, why is Wade wasting this look in the studio? Sure, it’s COVID-19 times, but you know Wade and Union have a personal pool at their disposal. Get this man outside!
The mark of a good friendship is being able to troll one another without consequence, and James and Wade have achieved that level, and then some. Such is the case when you can connect on alley-oops on a nightly basis, and win two chips along the way.
Now, if LBJ is able to secure his fourth NBA title in the bubble, the entire Lakers squad ought to rock such a confident look. Until then, it’s reserved for the Kings of South Beach.
