Shaquille O’Neal absolutely trolled Vince Carter over a Zoom call.
Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many talents, as he’s a better interior gardener than Vince Carter.
“The Big Aristotle” took out a water bottle and poured it possibly over his crotch to try to prove a point. On a Zoom call for NBA on TNT, Shaq held absolutely nothing back, as he told Carter he needed to do a better job of watering his “dry-ass plants” behind him. In the age of the coronavirus, no Zoom background is safe, as you will be picked to pieces like Shaq did to Carter.
We have to respect Shaq’s commitment to the bit. I mean, he basically emptied an entire water bottle possibly over his crotch, just to troll the recently retired, future Hall of Famer about the state of his flowers. Then again, those flowers were about as alive as the playoff chances of Carter’s former team, the Atlanta Hawks. He’s not in a bubble and his plants are so thirsty!

Rule No. 1 in life is that you can never take a good troll of someone too far. If Shaq had 12 ounces of water forming a lake on the front of his pants, it was worth it to rip Vinsanity for his insanity in thinking he doesn’t have to water his plants and they’ll survive. Ultimately, Shaq was the better NBA player. We all know that, but now we all know he’s the better botanist of the two as well.
Perhaps Carter should start small with cacti or pet rocks and go from there? Then again, he only recently retired, so he’s got a lot to learn about good housekeeping from a guy who’s been out of the league for a decade in Shaq. Does Shaq have a tropical rain forest in his domain or at least his own version of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? With that much spare water, let’s hope he does.
This was a better troll than telling Charles Barkley how many rings he doesn’t have. Carter did that patented, “I’m embarrassed so I’m laughing and looking down at the same time” maneuver we’ve all perfected as undeniably awkward and introverted human beings. With all that free time of his, let’s hope Carter becomes to indoor gardening as he was to NBA Slam Dunk Contest dunking.
