There’s a special chemistry brewing on the Denver Nuggets with Nikola Jokic and Bol Bol.
The resumption of the 2019-20 NBA season is just over a week away, and hoops fans can’t wait to indulge in the action after the months-long void due to the coronavirus pandemic. When it comes to fun teams to watch, the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks come to mind. We’re here to tell you to put the Denver Nuggets on your list.
On Monday, the Nuggets’ official Twitter account released a seven-second clip of star center Nikola Jokic showing off his chemistry with the ultra-popular rookie, Bol Bol.
Seriously, who’s going to stop them when Bubble Bol Bol is that high? We’ll wait for your replies.
Bol Bol became a social media sensation during his collegiate career
Bol Bol was originally slated to be a certified first-round pick in the 2019 NBA Draft upon entering his freshman year at Oregon. However, his stint in Eugene lasted a grand total of nine games, and he bowed out for the remainder of the season due to a left foot injury. At the conclusion of the season, Bol Bol declared for the draft.
As expected, his stock dropped due to the ailment, causing him to be taken by the Nuggets (via a trade with the Miami Heat) in the second-round with the 44th overall pick.
Bol Bol missed all of his rookie season due to said injury, but arrived in the bubble with the entire Nuggets team. He showcased in that seconds-long clip just what his 7-foot-2-inch frame and 7-foot-8-inch wingspan can bring Denver on the court. You really think head coach Michael Malone isn’t going to play him? Please!
Good luck trying to wipe the smiles off the faces of Nuggets fans, because you can’t! Their future is way too bright.
