Howard to join Lakers, donate $700K from restart

Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard told CNN on Monday night that he will join the team in Orlando for the restart of the NBA season.

“I feel like we have a great opportunity, the Lakers do, for winning the title this year … Yes, I will be joining my team in Orlando,” he said.

Howard added that he will donate the salary he earns in the bubble to the charity Breathe Again.

Howard’s status for the restart had been in question.
