The suspended NBA season came at the perfect time for the Miami Heat. After starting the season with 25 wins in their first 34 games, they went 16-15 over their next 31 contests. A four-month reprieve is exactly what this team needed to get back on track.
Now the Heat have eight games to improve their playoff positioning and possibly avoid the Milwaukee Bucks until the conference finals. They have ground to cover, trailing the Toronto Raptors by 5.5 games and the Boston Celtics by 2.5 games in the standings. But the Heat have the depth and well-balanced personnel to accomplish this feat and make a deep postseason run.
