LA Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley is expected to miss a few games with a right wrist sprain because of a sprained right wrist, league sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Beverley, whom the Clippers have already ruled out of Tuesday’s game against Sacramento, was injured Saturday against the Utah Jazz, but X-rays showed no break. Beverley didn’t discuss the injury with reporters afterward.
“I’m concerned a little bit about what the injury is, if it’s an injury, if it’s just a one-game thing, hopefully it’s that,” coach Doc Rivers said after Saturday’s game.
Beverley is averaging 8 points and 3.3 assists per game this season.
