Daily NBA Betting Tip Sheet: Nov. 2

NBA Betting Tip Sheet is a daily rundown of NBA betting lines and key factors that could impact the numbers in Las Vegas. All NBA odds are courtesy of The Action Network.

Tonight’s lines:

New Orleans Pelicans (+3, +130 ML) @ Oklahoma City Thunder (-3, -150 ML) (O/U 227.5)

Notes: Zion Williamson (knee) remains out for the Pelicans. Derrick Favors (knee) is doubtful. For the Thunder, Steven Adams (knee) is questionable, Nerlens Noel (foot) is probable and Andre Roberson (knee) is out. With both teams thin inside, it could be a small-ball, fast-paced game, which explains why the over/under number has risen from its original mark of 226.5.

Oklahoma City plays for the first time since Wednesday, while New Orleans returns to action after beating the Nuggets at home Thursday night.

Brooklyn Nets (-1.5, -123 ML) @ Detroit Pistons (+1.5, +103 ML) (O/U 224)

Notes: Brooklyn has no injuries listed for players on the active roster. Reggie Jackson (back) is doubtful for the Pistons. Both the Nets (win at home vs. Rockets) and Pistons (loss at Chicago) were in action Friday night.

Denver Nuggets (-4, -172 ML) @ Orlando Magic (+4, +154 ML) (O/U 204.5)

Notes: Will Barton (toe) is questionable for Denver. Michael Carter-Williams (hip) is questionable for the Magic, who are on a home back-to-back after getting blown out by the Bucks Friday night and could probably use the depth against a deep Nuggets backcourt.

Toronto Raptors (+4.5, +160 ML) @ Milwaukee Bucks (-4.5, -185 ML) (O/U 224.5)

Notes: Patrick McCaw (questionable, knee) is the only player on the report for the Raptors, while the Milwaukee side is blank. The Bucks traveled back to Wisconsin after a blowout win in Orlando Friday night, while Toronto has not played since Wednesday when they beat Detroit at home.

Phoenix Suns (-2, -130 ML) @ Memphis Grizzlies (+2, +110 ML) (O/U 221.5)

Notes: Phoenix has been off since Wednesday, while Memphis last played Tuesday in Los Angeles. Deandre Ayton (suspended) and Ty Jerome (ankle) remain out for the Suns, while Brandon Clarke (back) is questionable for Memphis.

Minnesota Timberwolves (+2, +117 ML) @ Washington Wizards (-2, -130 ML) (O/U 225.5)

Notes: Minnesota last played Wednesday when Karl Anthony-Towns was ejected in a loss to Philadelphia and ultimately suspended two games for his role in a fight with Joel Embiid.

With no report of an appeal, KAT appears set to miss this one. The Timberwolves have no injuries to report as of now.

The Wizards last played Thursday in one of the highest-scoring games in league history, a 159-158 home loss to the Rockets. They remain without John Wall (achilles), Ian Mahinmi (achilles), Jordan McRae (finger) and C.J. Miles Jr. (foot).

Charlotte Hornets (+1, -110 ML) @ Golden State Warriors (-1, -110 ML) (O/U 223)

Notes: The Hornets catch the Warriors at a good time. Charlotte last played Wednesday night, when they won in Sacramento and Golden State lost at home to the Suns.

The Warriors played again last night, getting blown out at home by the Spurs. It would honestly be surprising if the Hornets do not close as favorites tonight considering it is a back-to-back for a truly bad Golden State team. Picturing the Hornets having a chance of being favored in a road game in the Chase Center probably did not seem possible to anyone until the last few days, but here we are.

Stephen Curry (broken hand), Klay Thompson (ACL rehab), Jacob Evans III (adductor), Kevon Looney (hamstring) and Alen Smailagic (ankle) all remain out of commission for the Warriors. Charlotte’s only listed injury is Nicolas Batum (broken finger).

Philadelphia 76ers (+1.5, +103 ML) @ Portland Trail Blazers (-1.5, -123 ML) (220 O/U)

Notes: Joel Embiid will serve the first game of his two-game suspension on the heels of the fight with Towns. This is obviously a break for the Trail Blazers, especially considering they may be without their top four centers this evening. Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Zach Collins (shoulder) and Pau Gasol (foot) are out, while Hassan Whiteside (knee) is questionable. Both teams have been off since Wednesday night.
