Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles has agreed to a one-year, $14 million extension, keeping him under contract with the franchise through 2021-2022, agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports tells ESPN.
Ingles, 32, had two years and $22.8 million left on his Jazz deal. The additional year secures one of the franchise’s most dependable, impactful and popular performers. The new deal delivered Ingles the largest raise for which he was eligible to sign.
The Jazz signed Ingles to a four-year, $54 million contract in 2017.
Ingles is coming off his best NBA season — 12.1 points, 5.7 assists, four rebounds and 1.2 steals. Ingles has missed only one game in the past four seasons.
Ingles, a native of Australia, played four years in the EuroLeague — including Barcelona and Maccabi — before coming to the NBA in 2014.
