First coach fired, most improved player, and other hard-to-find NBA futures

The latest episode of Fastbreak Breakfast dips its toes into geopolitical conflict, but mainly just wants to argue about real and imagined NBA futures and prop bets

Hunting for NBA futures and prop bets outside of team win totals can be a murky affair. For some reason, an online casino has a line on how many rebounds per game Brandon Ingram will average this coming season, but lacks the always entertaining “First Coach Fired” odds.

Luckily, we at Fastbreak Breakfast possess the requisite knowledge to create our own. And between you and me, we might even take your action (if our lawyers give us the green light).

So on a new episode we make our selections and name our favorite long shots for the available categories such as NBA Champion, Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year, plus we set the lines for a few others, such as Most Improved Player and First Coach Fired.

In addition to gambling, the following topics are covered:

  • Speaking of geopolitical events, what’s the most money you’ve ever cost an employer through a mistake or accident?
  • Will David Fizdale’s plan to have the Knicks play a full-court defense pay off? Do his quotes exist purely to entertain us?
  • How much of Jimmy Butler‘s early workout routine is performative? What is the right balance of team building and getting a good night’s rest?
  • Should a Hornets fan moving to Philadelphia be allowed to switch team allegiances?

Fastbreak Breakfast is a podcast for serious NBA fans that is incredibly not serious. All episodes are available on Apple Podcasts and Soundcloud or any other major podcast service.
