Best NBA prop bets today for Suns vs. Nuggets Game 5 (Trust stars to keep shining)

Home teams are a perfect 4-0 in the Denver Nuggets-Phoenix Suns series in the Western Conference semifinals, and the series shifts back to Denver for Game 5 on Tuesday night.

While I personally like Denver in this game, there are plenty of prop bets to choose from as well, especially with Nikola Jokic, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant all running red hot as of late.

Let’s break down my three favorites for Game 5:

Suns vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets

  • Devin Booker OVER 31.5 Points
  • Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple-Double
  • Kevin Durant OVER 5.5 Assists

Devin Booker OVER 31.5 Points

Devin Booker can’t miss right now, going 34-for-43 from the field over his last two games and scoring over 31.5 points in three straight games.

Given his usage, it’s shocking that oddsmakers are still valuing Booker at this line, especially since he leads all players in the playoffs in scoring at 36.8 points per game.

There’s going to be some shooting regression for Booker (I think) at some point in this series, but he’s too hot to fade right now.

Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple-Double

Nikola Jokic finished with just four rebounds in Game 4, an anomaly considering he’s grabbed at least 11 in six of his last seven matchups, but he’s back to putting up major assist numbers.

Jokic has 28 dimes in his last two games, and he’s recorded a triple-double in three games this postseason. The two-time MVP is averaging 30.8 points, 13.1 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game in the playoffs.

At plus money, he’s a great bet to stuff the stat sheet again in Game 5.

Kevin Durant OVER 5.5 Assists

With Chris Paul likely to miss Game 5, Durant is going to be the primary initiator of offense again for the Suns on Tuesday night.

The former MVP has eight and six assists in his last two games without Paul, and he’s cleared this number in half of his playoff games this season.

With Booker shooting the lights out, these props kind of go hand-in-hand. I’ll trust Durant, whose usage rate is through the roof in the last two games, to continue to create for his teammates.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
