NBA best bets today (Predictions for Steph Curry, Celtics-Wizards and Heat-Raptors)

Tuesday’s NBA action has been marred by injuries, as there are several key players trending towards missing or already ruled out for tonight’s action.

NBA injury report for Tuesday, March 28

  • Ja Morant – doubtful
  • Jimmy Butler – out
  • Bradley Beal – out
  • Kyle Kuzma – out
  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – out

This certainly shakes things up in the betting market, but I think it gives value to the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors, my two favorite spread bets tonight.

Let’s dive into the plays for March 28:

NBA best bets record to date

NBA best bets today

  • Boston Celtics -11 (-110) vs. Washington Wizards
  • Steph Curry OVER 11.5 Assists and Rebounds (-110)
  • Toronto Raptors -5.5 (-110) vs. Miami Heat

Boston Celtics -11 (-110) vs. Washington Wizards

Are the Celtics peaking at the right time?

Boston has three straight blowout wins, and now it faces a freefalling Washington team that won’t have Beal or Kuzma on Tuesday night.

The Celtics are No. 1 in the league in net rating over their last 10 games, while the Wizards are 25th. This should be an easy win for Boston, especially since the Wizards are one of the league’s worst teams as home underdogs, going 7-11 ATS this season.

Steph Curry OVER 11.5 Assists and Rebounds (-110)

It’s rare that I’ll bet a Steph Curry prop that doesn’t involve scoring, but there is just too much value on this not to.

Steph has picked up 12 or more rebounds or assists in four of his last five games, and he’s averaging 6.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game on the season.

Now, Golden State is at home, where it has played much better this season, which should allow Steph to get some easy assists to his teammates. Curry stuffs the stat sheet a lot more than many expect, and I think this number is too long on Tuesday night.

Toronto Raptors -5.5 (-110) vs. Miami Heat

This line has moved two points since opening at -3.5, but I still like the Raptors to win and cover in this game, especially since Jimmy Butler is out for the Miami Heat.

Miami is a league-worst 27-45-3 ATS on the season, going just 7-9 as a road underdog. The Raptors, on the other hand, have been great as home favorites, going 19-12-1 ATS.

Miami is just 8-7 when Butler sits this season, and the team has struggled all season on offense, ranking in the bottom-10 in offensive rating.

Toronto should roll in what is becoming a must win if the team wants to stay out of the No. 10 seed.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
