Best NBA prop bets today for Celtics vs. Heat (Trust Tyler Herro)

The Boston Celtics are down several players on Tuesday night, including Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Al Horford, when they take on the Miami Heat in an Eastern Conference Finals rematch.

All of those injuries have shifted the prop market and the odds for this game, so how should we wager on it?

Here are the props I am targeting for this Eastern Conference showdown:

Celtics vs. Heat best NBA prop bets today

  • Robert Williams III OVER 8.5 Rebounds
  • Tyler Herro OVER 19.5 Points

Robert Williams III OVER 8.5 Rebounds

Robert Williams III has played just one game without Al Horford this season, but when you go back to the 2021-22 campaign, he dominated the glass when Al was out of the lineup.

Williams averaged 11.0 rebounds per game across 10 games without Horford, yet he’s only set at 8.5 boards in this matchup.

The Heat rank 17th in the NBA in rebounding percentage this season, and Boston could use Williams on the offensive glass with so many key players out.

I think this line is a little too low for Williams, who has also put up nine or more boards in three of his last five games.

Tyler Herro OVER 19.5 Points

Tyler Herro has torched the Celtics this season, going for 22, 26 and 25 points in the first three matchups between the two teams.

With Smart and Malcolm Brogdon out of the lineup in this game, Boston’s perimeter defense should take a hit.

Herro will feast on the likes of Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser, and he’s averaging 20.8 points per game on the season. Even after a few down games in the scoring department, I love Herro to bounce back here.
