Best NBA prop bets today for Suns vs. Warriors (How to bet Stephen Curry’s return)

Stephen Curry is back for the Golden State Warriors and the defending champs will look to pick up their play and make a run at the Pacific Division, which they are only a game-and-a-half behind leader Sacramento Kings.

The Warriors face a fellow Pacific Division foe in the Phoenix Suns, who are reeling without Devin Booker, losers of nine of their last 10. How will Curry play in his return to the lineup from a shoulder injury? You can check out our game preview here, but we’re talking props in this article.

It’s worth noting that with some questions about who will be available for the Suns on Tuesday night, there are only props up at most sportsbooks for Warriors players. Here’s two I’m eyeing:

Best NBA prop bets for Suns vs. Warriors

  • Stephen Curry OVER 22.5 Points (-110)
  • Draymond Green OVER 6.5 Assists (+100)

Stephen Curry OVER 22.5 Points (-110)

Sure, Curry can be under a minutes limit in his first game back in a few weeks, but this is too low to ignore. Before he went down, the best shooter to ever play the game was averaging 30 points per game on 50% shooting.

While the Suns do allow the fewest amount of three-point shots in the league this season, Curry is the exception to the rule. Not to mention, this team is in a bad way at the moment, posting a -7.5 net rating since Booker reaggravated his groin injury on Christmas, posting the third worst net rating in the league since then.

The Warriors play at the fastest pace in the NBA this season, and the Suns are going to struggle to keep up, expect Curry to put up points in bunches to get back on track.

Draymond Green OVER 6.5 Assists (+100)

Green is averaging 6.7 assists on the season and I really like the idea of playing Green as a facilitator in Curry’s return to the floor. When the two share the floor this season, the Warriors have scored more than 122 points per 100 possessions, which would be the best offense in the league by more than four points. The team is shooting 40.8% from three when the two are on the court at the same time as well.

Green will be able to operate as a point forward as Curry runs off a myriad of screens and opens the floor up for the rest of the offense. Give me this Green over, and don’t be afraid to ladder his props up to double digits, which he has done in seven of 36 games this season.
