Atlanta Hawks analyst Bob Rathbun suffered a scary health episode on-air on Monday, and he’s reportedly doing okay after medical attention.

Atlanta Hawks analyst Bob Rathbun raised many concerns after suffering a scary health episode on-air during Monday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Luckily, multiple reports have shared that he’s doing okay with the most recent stating he was treated for dehydration.

The Hawks released a statement saying, “Prior to tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun briefly lost consciousness on the court. Emergency medical professionals on-site quickly treated Rathbun for dehydration. He is stable, responsive and heading to Emory Midtown for further evaluation.”

While the situation is still scary and ongoing, many are coming together for Rathbun in hopes that he’ll remain okay and stable. Many notable figures shared their support for the legendary 68-year-old broadcaster as he continues to undergo evaluation.

The situation, though seemingly under control for the time being, is still ongoing and good wishes are certainly helpful for the Hawks community in this time.

Kelly Crull of Bally Sports South shared her appreciation for the community and urged continued prayers for Rathbun.

Tyler Duke of The Lines shared his support as well, describing Rathbun as one of the nicest people he’s ever met.

Mark Schindler shared a similar sentiment of best wishes for Rathbun.

Rathbun has made a very clear impact in the NBA for the better, and it’s the community’s turn to come together for him and hope for a speedy and safe recovery.
