Grant Williams does not believe Warriors were better team than Celtics in NBA Finals

In regards to discipline, Williams brings up how the Celtics would have commanding leads, but they would, for example, miss three shots.

Williams brought up Game 4 as an example, expressing his belief that the Warriors celebrated because they did not think they were supposed to win that game. Game 4 was where the Celtics were seemingly heading for a victory, but the Warriors went on a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter to give them a late 100-94 lead. Golden State won that game 107-97.

Golden State took the final two games of the series to win the NBA Championship for the fourth time in eight years.

The Celtics went through a gauntlet of challengers to make it to the NBA Finals. They swept the Brooklyn Nets, defeated the defending NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks in the second round in seven games, and beat the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals to make it to the big series for the first time since 2010.

In the NBA Finals, Williams averaged 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 17.0 minutes, while putting up a field goal percentage of 52.9.

Williams believes that the Celtics were a better team, but the Warriors are the ones who got to take home the coveted Larry O’Brien Trophy.
