The Warriors are NBA champions again but, even though they didn’t clinch the title at home, the Chase Center was still packed and reacted incredibly.

It’s always sweet whenever a sports team is able to win a title at home in front of their fans but, frankly, that’s just not how it works sometimes. And on Thursday night, that came to fruition as the Golden State Warriors were able to bring the dynasty back to life on the road in Boston with a Game 6 win over the Celtics to capture another NBA Championship.

While the game took place in Beantown, the home court in the Bay Area, the Chase Center, was packed full of Warriors fans watching the big game on the jumbotron.

So when Steph Curry and Golden State clinched their fourth championship in the last eight years, the crowd was more than hyped and ready to celebrate. Their reaction was so emphatic it’s hard not to make any sports fan feel something or get goosebumps.

Warriors: Chase Center erupts as Warriors clinch NBA Championship

Despite the success that this franchise and the fans have enjoyed over the past decade as a whole, the past couple of years have certainly been tougher than most.

With the departure of Kevin Durant and injuries keeping Klay Thompson on the sidelines, the questions started to swirl about whether or not Curry could get it done as the leading man, whether this team would get back to the mountaintop, and so on.

Now that they’ve done it, there are no questions. And you can feel that sense of relief and triumph from the fans inside the Chase Center, making the moment that much more special.
