Watch: Devin Booker dapped up a baby after drilling buzzer-beater

After hitting a buzzer-beating shot in the first quarter, Devin Booker dapped up a baby during Game 2 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Phoenix Suns entered Tuesday night, Apr. 19, looking to extend their series lead against the New Orleans Pelicans to 2-0 with a Game 2 victory. At the end of the first quarter, star Devin Booker went viral on social media.

With the game tied at 28 points apiece, Booker hit a huge buzzer-beating shot to give Phoenix a 30-28 lead entering the second quarter. As Booker was sitting on the floor, he turned to his left and dapped up a baby sitting at court-side.

The Pelicans were giving it there all trying to keep pace with the Suns, but Booker was further cushioning Phoenix’s lead. At the end of the first half, Booker hd hit 31 points while shooting 7-for-10 from behind the three-point line.

The Suns finished the regular-season with a league-best 64-18 record. They want to get back to the NBA Finals to win their first Larry O’Brien trophy in franchise history. The Suns fell just short of that goal last season, as they took a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, but lost the next four games of the Finals.

Booker had himself a great first half. He dropped 31 points, hit a buzzer-beater in the first quarter and dapped up a baby.
