Julius Randle had Knicks fan tossed for incredibly soft heckling

New York Knicks star Julius Randle got a fan ejected in Miami for incredibly soft heckling.

Julius Randle got a New York Knicks fan ejected from a game for simply heckling facts at him.

As the Knicks continue to get Bing Bonged by pretty much the entire NBA, Randle could not handle even the slightest criticism when New York took on the Miami Heat down in South Beach. A transplanted Knicks fan called him out from beyond the bench for being the latest supporter of the Thumbs Down Movement. Once the fan said Randle was rocking a -34 plus/minus, he got tossed.

The Knicks are losers of three in a row and find themselves in 12th place in the Eastern Conference Standings at a mediocre 23-27 on the season.

For a team that prided itself on being tough like the city in plays in, this is about as finesse as it comes. Of course, the Knicks got smoked by the Heat on Wednesday night because that is what winning organizations do to losing ones at home. Miami finds itself atop the Eastern Conference Standings at 32-17 with a commanding 4.5-game lead over the Charlotte Hornets in the division.

Even with the No. 7 through No. 10 seeds taking part in the play-in tournament again this postseason, the Knicks are a game back of the Washington Wizards for the last spot. While there is time for New York to right the ship and get back to playing some winning basketball, they are going to need a few teams above them in the conference standings to stumble, or just play better.

Last summer’s one playoff win was cool, but it may be a while before the Knicks get another one.
