The Portland Trail Blazers announced an investigation into the workplace environment under Neil Olshey, Portland’s president of basketball operations.

According to the statement, the issue does not involve any players but rather is centered around concerns from “non-player personnel.”

It’s not totally clear at the moment what specifically led to this investigation taking place and the Trail Blazers have not issued a comment on the specifics, however, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that sources alleged that employees had to deal with a toxic workplace environment where bullying and intimidation were present.

Olshey was hired by Portland back in 2012 after he left the Los Angeles Clippers. He was initially hired as general manager and moved into his current position in 2015.

This sort of news comes as Portland continues to struggle on the court. It’s still early, but the Trail Blazers are off to a rough start and are currently sitting at 10th in the Western Conference with a 4-5 record. Portland recently snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Indiana Pacers.
