Kyrie Irving threatens to retire if the Brooklyn Nets try to trade him

Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving allegedly will retire if he is ever traded to another team.

Kyrie Irving has found his forever home with the Brooklyn Nets and has no intentions on playing for any other franchises. His commitment to the Nets is so strong, that he would hang up his jersey if ever traded away. At least that is the case, according to Fox Sports’ Nick Wright.

Kyrie Irving is not being traded anywhere

Kyrie Irving will be a Brooklyn Net for the foreseeable future, so fans have no reason to worry about no longer being able to watch Uncle Drew. The Brooklyn Nets haven’t expressed any public interest to deal Irving away and it wouldn’t make much sense to do so considering their loaded roster are one of two favorites to win next season’s championship.

There hasn’t even been any rumors of a possible Irving departure all off season. It’s pretty clear the teams intentions to build around their big three. With Irving, his close friend Kevin Durant, and perennial all-star James Harden returning to the Nets, the three will be hoping for good health as they try to bring a Larry O’Brien Trophy to Brooklyn.
