Kevin Durant fires back at Steve Kerr once again on Twitter

There’s clearly no love lost between Kevin Durant and Steve Kerr, as the superstar shooter has once again called him out on social media.

Despite Kevin Durant winning two NBA Finals while with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018, it doesn’t look like he and Steve Kerr remain friends. Matter of fact, it’s been made pretty clear that the two don’t like one another.

It’s been made public that Kerr took issue with Durant’s use of social media while he was in the Bay Area, trying to push Durant to be more like LeBron James and Michael Jordan by not paying attention to what the haters had to say. Durant has taken issue with this.

Kevin Durant didn’t hold back in going after Steve Kerr

Durant is never one to shy away from people on Twitter. That’s not going to change. At the same time, Durant doesn’t like seeing Kerr try and make it seem like he was so focused on social media, that it affected his play on the court.

That really wasn’t the case, as he indeed won two NBA Finals with the team. Who knows, he could have potentially made it three had he not suffered his Achilles injury in Game 5 going up against the Toronto Raptors.

When Durant is fully healthy, there’s no denying he’s one of the best players in the game. He’ll go down as an all-time great. Kerr, from a coach’s angle, was likely just trying to get the most out of his player.

Durant, though, doesn’t think he was doing anything wrong and didn’t let anything have a negative impact on his game. These two can just agree to disagree at the end of the day.
