The second-round playoff series between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks is finally starting to heat up. A spinning layup by Jrue Holiday late in Game 3 may just have saved the Bucks season. Perhaps this could be the thrilling series we all thought it would be, after all.
Both teams relied heavily on their stars in Game 3 as the pace slowed down and the series got more physical. Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant all had 30-plus points. Meanwhile, neither team got more than seven points from their bench. It seems that at long last, Milwaukee head coach Mike Budenholzer chose to ride his best players in a must-win game.
Looking ahead to Sunday’s Game 4, the Bucks need another victory or else they risk putting the Nets in the driver seat heading back to Brooklyn.
