Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers

Pandemic P came back for the Clippers and Twitter loved it

Luka Doncic hit yet another incredible game-winner to seal the Dallas Mavericks’ win over the LA Clippers, but Twitter chose to go after Pandemic P.

Luka Doncic is cold-blooded. The former Rookie of the Year scored 42 points as the Dallas Mavericks bounced back to beat the LA Clippers 105-89 on Wednesday night. The win split the series between the two teams after the Clippers took care of business on Monday. Doncic was the only player for the Mavs to score more than 15 points in the outing.

Los Angeles, on the other hand, got 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists from Kawhi Leonard in the loss. Paul George ended the night with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the blowout loss but still somehow found himself a trending topic on Twitter by the end of the evening.

Luka Doncic hits nasty floater against the Clippers; crosses up Paul George

It seemed like the Mavericks had it out for their first-round playoff opponent from last season’s NBA bubble. Paul George is certainly playing much better now than he was then, but ended up on the wrong side of a Twitter joke once again Wednesday night.

In the fourth quarter, as Dallas was pulling away with the lead and eventually the win, George guarded Doncic hastily before being hit with a nasty behind-the-back move. Doncic went on to leave George on the ground behind him and hit a floater over the help defense.

Twitter, right on cue, let the Pandemic P jokes fly. Check out some of the best ones below.

Poor PG.

The former Lob City squad will look to correct their mistakes on Saturday against LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets. What’s the over/under on a Pandemic P sighting then?
