LeBron James, Urban Meyer reacts to Ohio State’s big win over Michigan State

LeBron James was ecstatic to see the Ohio State Buckeyes get a big win over Michigan State.

Ohio State football was back on the field after having last week off after their game with Illinois had to be canceled due to COVID issues with the Buckeyes. They were short-handed with head coach Ryan Day unable to coach due to being in isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus and they were without four starters and 23 players overall vs. Michigan State but it didn’t hurt their cause against the Michigan State Spartans.

Justin Fields threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 104 and two touchdowns in the 52-12 win over the Spartans as the Buckeyes quarterback looks to get back in the Heisman conversation.

After the game, former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer tweeted “Best thing about 5-0…” and the answer is the chance to be 6-0, which they’ll look to do next week vs. rival Michigan if the game is able to be played due to the virus issues affecting the Wolverines who had their game canceled this weekend.

That was echoed by the biggest celebrity Ohio State football fan LeBron James who tweeted the following:

LeBron who signed a two-year extension earlier to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers has to be feeling great these days. On top of winning the NBA Finals earlier this fall, the Lakers also re-signed All-NBA center Anthony Davis to a big five-year extension as they look to join Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal among the all-time great duos in Lakers and NBA history.

Plus, he’s got the Ohio State Buckeyes sitting at 5-0 and looking like they’ll be able to compete for a Big Ten Championship with Big Ten athletic directors likely to change the rules in the event their game vs. Michigan is canceled. On top of that, a Big Ten Championship likely guarantees a College Football Playoff berth for the Buckeyes.

Man, it’s good to be LeBron these days.
