LeBron James reacts to Luka Doncic beating the Clippers for him

LeBron James went all Mike Breen on us celebrating Luka Doncic’s game-winner.

LeBron James could not be more excited about Luka Doncic‘s game-winning 3-pointer.

From somewhere inside of the NBA bubble, the Los Angeles Lakers point forward watched Game 4 of the Western Conference Playoffs series between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers. Without Kristaps Porzingis, Doncic delivered the knock blow off the Clippers by draining a game-winning three as time expired. James loved it so much, he became Mike Breen. BANG!!!

Why beat the Los Angeles Clippers when Luka Doncic can go it for you?

For James to win his fourth NBA Finals and become the first superstar player to win one with three different organizations, the Lakers will need to come out of the Western Conference. They are the No. 1 seed in the West, with the Clippers as the No. 2. It has been mostly chalked in the first round of the NBA playoffs, but Doncic’s Game 4 dagger certainly makes things interesting.

The Lakers should be able to get past the No. 8-seeded Portland Trail Blazers in the first round. If it were to be chalk in the Western Conference, the Lakers would meet Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the rest of the Clippers in the Western Conference Finals. But should Doncic, Porzingis and the rest of the Mavericks stun the Clippers in their first-round series, James will be a very happy man.

Some may argue the Western Conference Finals would be more of a challenge for the Lakers if they were to face the Clippers than if they were to draw the Milwaukee Bucks out of the Eastern Conference in the 2020 NBA Finals. Milwaukee is the top-seeded team in the East, but the Bucks could have quite the challenge in store for them in the defending NBA Champion Toronto Raptors.

Doncic and Porzingis were questionable for this game. While Porzingis was unable to go due to right knee soreness, Doncic delivered his first big playoff moment of his budding NBA career by shocking the Clippers in Game 4. With the series tied up at two games apiece, you would have to say the momentum heading into Game 5 is in the Mavericks’ favor. The Clippers must figure it out.

James got a gift from Doncic on Sunday afternoon and everybody knows he did big time.
