Daily NBA betting tip sheet: November 3rd

NBA Betting Tip Sheet is a daily rundown of NBA betting lines and key factors that could impact the numbers in Las Vegas. All NBA odds are courtesy of The Action Network.

Tonight’s lines (odds are subject to change until tip):

Chicago Bulls (+2.5, +120 ML) @ Indiana Pacers (-2.5, -140 ML) (O/U 214)

Notes: Both teams won Friday night at home, and come into Sunday’s game with a day of rest. The Bulls expect to be at full strength health wise, while the Pacers remain without Myles Turner (ankle) and Victor Oladipo (quad), while Domantas Sabonis is a game-time decision with a calf issue. If Sabonis is unable to go, the Pacers will obviously be extremely thin in terms of rim protection and rim running, along with all of the other great things he brings to the court.

Houston Rockets (-2.5, -140 ML) @ Miami Heat (+2.5, +120 ML) (O/U 231.5)

Notes: With the Rockets only missing Gerald Green (foot fracture) and Nene (adductor), expect them to be favored by considerably more if Jimmy Butler (questionable, foot) and/or Justice Winslow (questionable, back) are unable to go. The Heat will also be without Derrick Jones Jr. (groin) and rookie KZ Okpala (achilles tendinitis) on Sunday. Miami has really exciting young talent that should get plenty of opportunities vs. a struggling Houston defense if Butler and Winslow are ultimately unable to go.

Sacramento Kings (-1.5, -125 ML) @ New York Knicks (+1.5, +105 ML) (O/U 214.5)

Notes: The Kings finally got in the win column Friday night when they beat the Jazz at home, by 1. Despite 1-5 record, the Knicks are actually 4-2 against the spread. The Kings have a matching 1-5 win-loss record but are also 1-5 against the spread, and 0-2 on the road.

The Kings will be without Marvin Bagley III (broken thumb) again Sunday, while Harry Giles is currently listed as questionable. The Knicks will be without Reggie Bullock (disc issue), Kadeem Allen (knee) and Elfird Payton (hamstring) while Dennis Smith Jr. (personal) is listed as questionable.

Los Angeles Lakers (-1, -115 ML) @ San Antonio Spurs (+1, -105 ML) (O/U 220)

Notes: The Lakers are 4-1 both in the standing as well as against the spread, with their only loss being the defeat at the hands of the Clippers to open the season. On the other hand, the Spurs are 1-4 against the spread, and 0-3 at home. The Lakers remain without Rajon Rondo (calf), while Kyle Kuzma (ankle) is probable. The Spurs currently have a clear injury report. The Lakers are coming off a wild overtime win vs. Dallas Friday night.

Dallas Mavericks (-5, -210 ML) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (+5, +175 ML (O/U 215)

Notes: The Mavericks travel to Cleveland after losing a heartbreak in overtime to the Lakers Friday night. They face a Cavalier team that will be missing Ante Zizic (foot), John Henson (hamstring) and Dylan Windler (leg). Matthew Dellavedova (personal) is questionable. Maxi Kleber (knee) is listed as questionable for Dallas.

Utah Jazz (+4, +150 ML) @ Los Angeles Clippers (-4, -180 ML) (O/U 212.5)

Notes: The Jazz not only lost the game Friday night in Sacramento, but also some depth when Ed Davis (fibula) went down. The Clippers come off a home win Thursday night vs. the Spurs that featured a dominate performance from Kawhi Leonard.

The Jazz will be without Emmanuel Mudiay (hamstring) and Dante Exum (right knee rehab) in addition to Davis. The Clippers remain without Paul George (shoulder rehab) while Amir Coffey (ankle) is doubtful.
